How DLP 3D Printers Work:

Resin Container:

The digital light projector at the core of the system projects a layer of the 3D model onto the liquid resin surface. This image is often a cross-section of the object being printed.


Layer by Layer Building:

The exposed resin cures and hardens upon contact with the projected light. The build platform then moves slightly, and the process is repeated for each layer until the entire object is formed.
